Although Michael and I had spent an afternoon and evening at a beer tent earlier during the week we planned a more official outing with some of their friends on the last day of Oktoberfest in Munich. Dressed in traditional Bavarien attire - the men in Lederhosen (leather shorts) and Bavarian shirts, the women wearing the dirndl (traditional Bavarian dress) we met with our party in the city and headed out for a beer tent. We actually had to arrive before noon to ensure a table. The beer is appartently brewed a bit stronger for the festival and with glass mugs at about 1 litre one feels the effects with just a few.
