On a not-so-surprising last minute flight booking I headed to Munich Germany. A friend I had met in Sydney Australia erlier in the year was kind enough to meet me at the airport.
For the next week Michael and his girlfriend would tour me around the city and Haag in Oberbayern (the village they live in outside Munich). During the week we would visit Munich, experience the Oktoberfest, tour Dachau (formerly one of the largest concentration camps in the area), drive south sightseeing into the mountains on the Austrian border basically take in some Bavarian culture and food!
